Peppermint essential oil is one of the most versatile essential oils market. I bring my bottle with me wherever I go. It is always in my purse when I'm doing errands, working, traveling or at home.
I meet so many cases where I can utilize and share this wonderful essential oil.
Essential oil Mint is incredibly powerful. Only a drop is equal to 28 cups of mint tea! Knowing this, one can appreciate the effectiveness of the oil can be when using it for therapeutic applications are listed below.
Also, my suggestions below are for a AFNOR / ISO certified therapeutic grade peppermint essential oils, such as Young Living Essential Oils. Any other grade of essential oil producing unwanted results. But as I always say, make sure you know the cultivation, distillation and methods of packaging of your provider before you buy essential oil essential oils.
The top 10 uses for peppermint essential oil are:

1. Soothe your discomfort gastrointestinal, including nausea, diarrhea and indigestion:
Rub 1 or 2 drops into your stomach. Or, put a drop under the tongue or in a cup water. They relax the muscles of the stomach and intestines, help you feel better, fast.
Actually, that's how I got involved with essential oils. My friend gave me a couple of drops of peppermint oil to put in my stomach when I felt nauseous. Three minutes later my stomach felt completely normal. I was sold! They have been an avid user of essential oil since then.
2. Reduce fever:
Rub 3 drops of peppermint essential oil in soles. It penetrate the pores of the feet and enter the bloodstream within minutes, working to cool your body and reduce fever.
This method to reduce fever is especially beneficial in children. If your child is under 2, dilute the peppermint organic olive oil before applying to the skin. Recommend dilute 1 drop of peppermint 1 drop of organic olive oil.
3. Clean up your stuffy nose:
Dab a small amount of essential oil mint in your cheeks and forehead. Within seconds, your congestion should begin to diminish and you should be able to breathe easier.
Be very careful not to get in your eyes! It burns and make your eyes water! But if this happens, ease the burning sensation by dabbing some organic olive oil in and around your eye. Olive oil is safe to use on eyes to reduce flaring. Or you can simply wait it out! The burning lasts only a minute or so.
4. Freshen breath
Use a dash of peppermint essential oil on the tongue. You do not need much! They kill bacteria and bad breath make your breath smell minty fresh!
Use it as a breath freshener is a great substitute for sugar gum or sucking on mints. Best for their teeth, too!
5. Cool off of suffocation or heat exhaustion:
Rub 1-2 drops of peppermint essential oil in the back of your neck. Begin to produce a cooling and tingling sensation in their efforts to cool the temperature of its core.
A recipe for cool on a hot day is … 1 drop of peppermint essential oil in 1 gallon of water. Shake well and pour over ice and enjoy!
6. Energize your tired feet:
Fill a foot basin with hot water. Mix 1 cup of Epsom or Dead Sea salts with 3 drops of peppermint essential oil. Add the mixture of salt bath feet and enjoy. The oil and salts revitalize your foot pain by helping reduce inflammation and swelling.
If you get pedicures, can bring this mixture of salt and add it to your Nail Tech its soaking water for a refreshing pedicure.
7. Relieve pain due to inflammation, arthritis and overuse:
Rub 1-3 drops of peppermint essential oil in your area of discomfort. For an extra boost, apply heat, as a package of heating microwave, to drive the oil in depth. It has high anti-inflammatory properties.
8. Improve your concentration and focus:
Rub 1 drop of peppermint essential oil on the temples whenever you feel scattered and unfocused. Studies have shown that diffusion increases the accuracy in mental 28%.
I like using it when I'm driving at night. It helps me stay awake until I get home. Also use it to overcome the block writers. I have as I write this article!
9. Relieve your headaches and migraines:
1 RUB drop of essential oil mint in the front and back of your neck. If you have nausea with your headaches, you can rub on your belly and also a little on your tongue.
It feels great well on your skin when you have a headache. Place a cold towel on the places that dried spearmint and cooling sensation will intensify, which much needed relief.
10. Curb your appetite:
Inhaling the essential oil of peppermint 5-10 times per day or whenever irrational hunger strikes. You can even put a little in their language to deter cravings.
Personally, I like to indulge my irrational desires from time to time, but Tip If you try this and see what you eat.
Peppermint essential oil deals with many different diseases. One of the most versatile essential oils on the planet. Although I have only a list of my ten list here, there are many, many more uses for peppermint.
